Insurance Training Institutes Association (ITIA)
The association of Insurance Training is the association of all the training institutes engaged in the insurance training and who have been accredited by the regulator, IRDA for such trainings. The association may be called as Insurance Training Institutes Association (ITIA) hereinafter referred to as “Association”. This association has got registered at Pune, Maharashtra, Registration No. maharashtra/1348/2006/pune , dated: 19/08/06.

To effectively and diligently impart training by inculcating values, systems and knowledge as per the guidelines of the authority to produce Insurance Advisors /Agents of high standards meeting the quality requirements of all the stakeholders.

Code of Conduct
- Adhere to guidelines of IRDA
- No unethical & illegal activities despite external pressures
- Follow pricing recommendations of Association
- Deviations & Complaints to be brought to the notice of the association for further action
- Qualified trainers to be deployed
- Should conduct trainings at accredited training centres only
- No violation of declared class-room capacity
- No contract with insurance company linked to results / pass percentage
- Issue TCC only after completion of valid training.
Status and Limitations
To carry out the program of the association and to make effective representations on behalf of its members, the association shall be organized as a non-profit, non stock organization. No asset of the association shall benefit any officer or member. The association shall not participate in partisan political activity.
Objectives
- To represent the members of the association before the regulatory body, companies and other bodies for the common cause of the members.
- To protect the interest of the members and the profession in which the members are engaged.
- To design and develop professional ethical practices code and also ensure that the members of the institution follow and adhere to the same. Create awareness of insurance in the society.
- Create conducive atmosphere amongst the insurance training institutes and impress that training is a noble profession.
- Create healthy competition, but avoid price war.
- Make it understood that it is training and training alone as core competence.
- Address problems, grievances to IRDA, Insurance Company’s, I I I etc. while implementing administrative procedures.
- To discuss and develop strategies for vertical and horizontal growth of the institutes. To work out the strategy for the members to add on other high end related training other than 100 hours training.
